CZ (Coach Bus Driver Training)
COACH BUS TRAINING
A Class C licence is needed to drive any bus with seats for more than 24 passengers, but not a school-purposes bus carrying passengers.
It allows the driver to operate vehicles included in classes D, F and G, but not motorcycles.
Class C Driver Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Must hold a valid Ontario Driver’s License “G” or higher
- Meet Medical and Vision Standard
- Class C Training Includes:
- Pre-trip Coach bus Inspection
- Picking passengers, dropping off passengers
- Rail road train tracks crossings
- In cab theory, emergency exits
- Medical form provided
- Turning, and backing upObservation
- Bus included for the M.T.O. road test
Note: This Program does not require approval under the private career College Act, 2005 and not prescribed as “Vocational Program”.
